While it looks as though the police have stopped using encrypted communication. So the police are back on the radio scanner once again! For how long? I don't know.

The police radios will be going back to encryption on Tuesday February 7th…it was good while it lasted!

Does anyone know if it is legal to listen to the scanners, *WHEN IT DID WORK*, Im surprized that the police aren’t charging a fee for this type of service. It had potential to be a good fast cash grab for the City of Wpg *NOT THAT I ENCOURAGE THAT*, but, rather accept that and join. Also, does anyone know where in Winnipeg, Mb. a person could buy one??
Where can I buy an Encryption Radio in Winnipeg? Or is there any other device that may be used to pick up the feed available in this city?????
