Trio arrested for robbery spree

Winnipeg police have three males in custody in connection with five armed robberies in the downtown and North End areas earlier this year.

Police said the males stole cash and cigarettes during four of the five hold-ups at gas bars and convenience stores between April 23 and May 6.
