Boy, 17, charged with torching rooming-house

Winnipeg police have laid arson charges in connection with an inner-city rooming house fire that injured a 17-year-old boy and two police officers late Friday.

The boy was in unstable condition when firefighters rescued him but he has been upgraded to stable condition, police said.
