Cops facing charges continue desk duties

Two Winnipeg police officers charged in the wake of a collapsed drug investigation will remain on administrative duties, pending the outcome of the court case, a police spokesperson said yesterday.

It’s a small victory for constables Graeme Beattie and Paul Clark, who will continue to do desk work while the case slowly winds its way through the courts.

  1. kwr1970 says:

here we go again, more cops getting away with breakin the law and STILL KEEPING THERE JOBS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Here we go again is right, but with reference to the crack dealers…not the cops. Here are known drug dealers, s****, and finanlly the cops have a chance to bust em, and just because they didn’t follow procedure to the T…they are the criminals. What a load of BS. These are honest Police Officers that made a mistake, and only had the best of intensions…keeping the city safe from the S****/\.
