Violent thug to prison

A Winnipeg man who took part in a terrifying home invasion in which a male homeowner was repeatedly stabbed and nearly killed has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
Michael Scott Kolba, 25, pleaded guilty to break and enter, commit robbery and possession of a stolen car.
