A fire truck was damaged by a hit-and-run driver yesterday at the scene of a stubborn blaze at a North End commercial building.
The aerial ladder truck — its ladder hydraulics disabled and its wheels frozen in ice — was struck and damaged by a minivan early yesterday as crews remained on scene working to remove the truck.
