If you thought the Southern Chiefs Organization’s ridiculous cries of racism this week sounded familiar, that’s because they are.
The group was predictably front and centre this week as the inquest report into Matthew Dumas’ death at the hands of Winnipeg police was released. Citing numerous statements from various witnesses to the fatal shooting, the report absolved police of any wrongdoing for killing the teen in January 2005.
