Murder victim bludgeoned to death, cops say

A form of household tool was used to bludgeon to death the victim of Winnipeg’s 23rd homicide of the year.

City police yesterday identified that victim as James Cruickshank, 44, who was allegedly slain in his Hargrave Street apartment by a friend last week.
