A Winnipeg man has been sentenced to 121/2 years in a U.S. federal prison and ordered to repay more than $23 million for his part in a worldwide investment scam.

Had he been tried in Canada our jewdicial system would have given him a slap on the wrist & he probably wouldn’t have been required to pay back the people he scammed.
