The four occupants of a stolen vehicle that crashed into a taxi early Saturday morning, killing the cab driver, remained in hospital yesterday.

    I hope they are crippled and brain damaged. as for the fool who flew out and got ran over, the driver should get an award for helpin stop him from runnin away from the scene.

    I think a mandatory sentence of 5yrs should be implemented on car thieves. If the thief is a minor, lock him up until he’s 18 and give him an additional 2 yrs so he can see what life inside stony is like.

    No Mercy for those who steal vehicles seeing now we lost 3 innocent people in the past 2 yrs because some punk steals a vehicle.

    What Id like to know is what was the driver thinkin drivin at 120kph through a red lite?…..where is the sense?…..

    Oh yeah, all involed in this terrible tragedy should get a minimum of 10 yrs and the driver should get at least 15yrs for vehicular manslaughter and grand theft at the least…..

    They should do what they do to thieves in Iraq….why don’t we start taking finger’s and hands as a penalty ;) Winnipeg has SUCH a high percentage if natives…its no wonder this city is going down the “reserve” crapper! I mean i’m not being racist,….but we ALL listen to the police scanner….what is the description of 90% of the suspects that commit crime’s in this city! “Suspect described as NATIVE….5’10 wearing a black hoodie and track pants with a stripe…..

    I doubt they will follow the good, not enough quick money in it, they are more likely to follow the crack dealers and other hoods…..
