Man convicted for stabbing hotel desk clerk

Sentenced to two years in jail
A Winnipeg man who repeatedly stabbed a hotel clerk following a dispute over unpaid rent has been sentenced to two years in jail. Charles Sparrow, 37, was convicted of aggravated assault following a trial earlier this year.
