A police spot check turned into a tense standoff early yesterday morning when a pair of officers unwittingly stepped into the line of fire on a core-area street.

    That’s what you get for being too friendly with the ghetto. Time for cops to stop running around with handguns. Standard issue should be a machine gun that can do some serious damage!
