This is quite a scary phenomenon! But those bad apples need to get booted out anyways.

Please keep in mind that lying seems to be something that perhaps runs in the family. Didn’t Jack lie earlier in his career[though never charged, wouldn't look good for the chief to be charged with perjury] that sent an innocent man to jail for murder. Stop lying if you do not want to give the liberals fuel for their fire. If the cops cannot do their jobs honestly maybe they have made a poor career choice. It is their fault the drug dealer is free, almost like aiding and abetting. Isn’t it?

It’s one thing to fabricate or plant evidence. However, having evidence there, yet obtaining it improperly is different.

I still think that someone who ignores the rules of the criminal code should not be protected by the charter of rights. The charter should be used to protect honest people from unreasonable police action.

Someome with a previous criminal record, with 2 lbs of coke in their hotel room used as a reloading station should not be let off due to it being seized improperly. Especially when it ends up in the hands of children.

Police can’t prosecute people honestly if those people are allowed to lie, and those lies hold more weight than police testimony.

Aiding and abetting? Had they done nothing, it would be aiding him in continuing his dealing. At least the action they took got the coke off the streets. Maybe next time they should just take the drugs and destroy them. No charges. A drug dealer wouldn’t claim that police took their illegal substance…. drugs are off the streets… supplier wants the dealer dead for oustanding debt…. problem solved.

You’ll disagree i’m sure, but the rules are clearly stacked against police, and the legal system is broken.
