   This was f**ked up right from the beginning.The East st.paul police were more like Keystone Kops & they are either incompetent or it was deliberate.How many accidents involving possible drunk driver do the investigate every year?And they bungled this one?Uh huh.

   Another problem is no matter what tough new laws we come up with there is always a loophole for some slimey lawyer to manipulate & once he gets his filthy hands on a case he can usually muddy the waters enough to have the case tossed or charges reduced.In my opinion there is no such thing as a “brilliant” defense attorney.A monkey could do their jobs;the law is stacked in favour of criminals,you can toss an alternate theory out there no matter how asinine it is and create reasonable doubt,endless appeals until you get the result you want.Or you can have another slimebucket defense attorney appointed “special” prosecutor to f**k up the case even more.I think the legal community in Winnipeg is too small.You go before a judge who may or may not have been a partner or associate at one time,everybody knows everybody,there’s probably alot of nudge-nudge-wink-wink and see you at the club for drinks later.

   We continually read how a judge”agonized” over a decision,but still lets the accused walk.What happens when a lefty judge “agonizes” over something? Do they pull every single hair out of their grey ponytail?does their salt and pepper beard turn completely grey because of all the stress?Or do they break numerous pairs of trendy eyeglasses or throw their birkenstocks against the wall in their moment of anguish?????Yeah I’m being a bit of a smarta55,but this nonsense in our criminal justice system is f**king retarded and it needs to stop.
