It’s pretty fraudulent for Manitoba to claim it’s doing everything in its power to combat auto theft.
We found out Monday at a legislative justice committee that Winnipeg police and Manitoba Public Insurance have quietly killed their bait car program.

so you all are pretty much telling me if you were walking home from work say at 2:30 am, you saw a Cadillac Escalade parked with the windows open, drivers door slightly open, and a cell phone and some money with the keys in the drink holder. your telling me that you wouldnt take it? because i know, everyone probably would. and i know EVERYONE would probably walk over to the car to take a look. stealing the car is different and dumb because you would get caught anyway but i know u would all take the money

A thief would take the money. Some of us who have been raised with morals, know that it belongs to someone else and leave it there.
The attitude that “I can take what i want / do what i want if i know i won’t get caught” is what contributes to the decline of our society.
